  1. What is calling through Internet (Voice over IP)?
VoIP means Voice over IP – or Voice over the Internet Protocol. In short terms it means communication using the Internet. In stead of using the traditional backbone of a telecommunications company to transport the voice traffic we use the internet to perform the same task

6. Is it possible that somebody calls me with a “normal” phone?
Yes but only when connected and configured correctly to a Tsunami-1P or 2P. Whenever the you connect the “normal” phone line into the Tsunami-1P your normal phone will ring when you receive an incoming call just like always. This means also that whenever the internet is failing you can rely on the normal pstn line as a backup. You will not receive an additional phone number with your Click & Call phone.
Why not? Because everybody is only interested in calling out to another phone and calling out to other Click & Call inzone users.
Also the fact that you NEED your existing phone line because it involves also your ADSL connection. So incoming calls are treated as normal and the same accessibility to your callers will be guaranteed.
With the softdialler you ONLY will be able to make outgoing calls to whatever normal phone. You cannot be called to your softdialler!

7. How do I make a call to somebody with a normal phone or (GSM)?
First of all you need an account and a minimum of US$ 5.50 (Naf 10,-) credit into this account managed by our PrePay system followed by one of our Click & Call products. After this you can use your equipment the following manner always using the international dial format; for example 0031235629628 (number in The Netherlands) or 0034968123456 (number in Spain). Take a look at our rates to check the different rates for the country you like to call. When not using a soft dialer do NOT FORGET to press the # key after the desired number has been dialed. The # key reduces the connecting time. The SIPPhone does not require the pound key # to be pressed after dialing the preferred number.

11. How fast should the Internet connection be?
You need to carefully consider this item in relation with the amount of Click & Call products that you like to connect to our system. Basically any Internet connection is limited to the maximum capacity that is specified by your service agreement between you and your ISP. Depending on the possibilities of your ISP (Internet Service Provider) you can determine the possible solution for your situation considering the next technical specification of a Voice over IP phone call. A VoIP (Voice over Internet protocol or Phone call over Internet) consumes about 2-2.5 kB/s. So ISDN therefore is limited to maximum 3 calls simultaneously.
Depending on the conditions of your Internet Service Provider regarding your ADSL up and download speed you can have an amount of simultaneous calls. The standard rate is 12 kB/s implying a maximum of 5 concurrent calls. Under normal conditions you need also to take you “normal” internet consumption in account when you combine VoIP with normal Internet use in your environment. So on a standard internet ADSL connection we advice a maximum of 4 calls for ADSL and a maximum of 2 calls simultaneously for ISDN. You can have whatever amount of devices connected to your network but you should only use it wisely according the explanation to avoid quality problems. REMEMBER: If your Internet connection is also in use for heavy up and downloads of information during your telephone conversations using our system than you can expect quality problems in the audio. Better to avoid heavy down and up loads or if unavoidable than use a separate ADSL or internet connection for your phone calls.

12. What is the quality of a VoIP phone call?
The quality of a VoIP phone call is the same or better than a phone call using your traditional telecommunication company. The maximum delay between the caller and the called party can sometimes be a bit higher up to 300 milliseconds. This effect is hardly noticeable. To be short; the quality is EXCELLENT.

16.  How am I being charged for the monthly fee and the called minutes?
We don't charge residential customers any monthly fee, only businesses. Residentials only pay the expenses on the minutes called from your PrePay amount available. So if you have 25 US$ on your account we will charge you the 9.95 US$ monthly fee (for Business Solutions only) from this amount and with the rest you can make calls to the normal phones all over the world. You will automatically receive an email to remind you when your calling credit is very low with the advise to add funds to your account. If you do not make any calls to the normal phones you will have your PrePay amount available until your PrePay account will be exhausted.

We charge you only the first 30 seconds of a successfully established call , after the first 30 seconds we charge you in steps of 6 seconds. 18. What happens when the called party is busy?
Than you pay nothing! Other companies charge you for this because they connect you to an answering machine meanwhile charging you the conversation. So, mostly you find out after about 1 minute that your called party is busy thus spending unnecessary money. With us you don’t pay when you don’t have any connection. NO connection means – NO Costs – Simple and clear!
